Four people were killed in a traffic accident in Khwahan district of Badakhshan province.

According to the Bakhtar state news agency, the event occurred on Saturday afternoon, May 21, in the Kajga Hawz Shah area of Khwahan district in Badakhshan province.

According to reports, one of the victims was a woman.

Another individual was wounded in the incident, according to reports.

Three individuals were killed in a traffic accident in Pul-e-Khumri city, Baghlan province’s capital, yesterday morning, when a Corolla passenger car collided with a lorry car.

Last week, a car accident in Jawzjan province’s Qush Tepa district, killed eight people and injured 25 others.

The number of traffic accidents in the country has increased in recent months. The principal causes of traffic accidents in Afghanistan include drivers’ violation of traffic laws, deteriorating roads, speeding, and the lack of traffic signals, with casualties dying every day.
