Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in a telephonic conversation with Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada discussed the Afghan peace process, Presidential Palace stated.

Trudeau stressed over supporting a stable democratic prolonged peace in Afghanistan.

Both sides exchanged views on the conference of NATO Defense Ministers, which will be held in February of this year in Brussels.

According to the statement “Both sides highlighted that the conference should adopt a common and coherent policy towards Afghanistan for the peace talks to achieve the desirable outcome”.
