David Cameron visits AfghanistanAccording to reports British Prime Minister David Cameron has arrived in Afghanistan following an unannounced visit to meet with the British troops and Afghan president Hamid Karzai.

A local official in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan said British Prime Minister David Cameron arrived in Helmand province late Friday evening and met with the British troops stationed in this province.

The official speaking on the condition of anonymity said David Cameron will hold talks with the provincial government officials.

The source further added that the British Prime Minister will meet president Hamid Karzai and will appear in a joint press conference in capital Kabul.

David Cameron is expected to visit Pakistan on Saturday evening and will meet with the Pakistani officials on a two-day state visit.
