
President-elect Joe Biden’s first move after entering the White House will be to form a team of scientific advisers to manage the fight against the Coronavirus.
Biden announced on Sunday that in his first step in leading the country, he will focus on forming a COVID-19 expert group before doing anything.
He adds, the early days of his administration are likely to face a deeper virus crisis.
Vivek Murthy, former head of operations for the US Public Health Service; and David Kessler, a former Food and Drug Administration commissioner, are said to have been chosen as the leading figures of the Corona Task Force.
Other team members are set to be announced soon.
