The Border Police Force have arrested three smugglers who were attempting to smuggle more than three kilograms of heroin to India.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the Border Police Forces in Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul have arrested three smugglers who were attempting to smuggle more than three kilograms of heroin to New Delhi, the capital city of India.
The statement further added that the smugglers had placed the heroin inside 338 capsules and had swallowed them in a bid to smuggle the drugs to New Delhi.
According to MoI, the Border Police Forces stopped and arrested the smugglers after identifying them inside the airport.
The ministry of interior has not disclosed the identities of the detained smugglers.
