At least five people were killed on Saturday night when a Gas cylinder exploded and a huge fire broke out at a Bakery in Baraki square in Kabul city.

Ferdows Faramarz, a spokesman for the Kabul Police HQ told Khaama Press on Sunday, that the incident took place last night at the Baraki square.

According to Faramarz, the blast was caused when a gas cylinder exploded, which left 5 people dead.

Besides unfortunate security incidents of IED explosions and suicide bombings, other incidents like fire breakouts and Gas cylinder blasts have turned a life-threatening incident to the public

In December of last year, A gas cylinder exploded in a house in the Ghani Khail district of Nangarhar province on Tuesday night, killing five members of the family and injuring two others.

Attaullah Khogyani, the spokesman to the Nangarhar governor, said a gas cylinder had exploded in a house in the Ghani Khail district of the province last night, the incident leaving five people including children dead and two others are wounded.
