At least sixty people have been killed or wounded in an explosion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, the local officials said.
The incident took place earlier today in the vicinity of Kalaya Bazzar area located in Hangu city.
According to the preliminary reports, the explosion has taken place close to an Imambargah but the nature of the blast has not been ascertained so far.
The local officials have said the death toll from the blast has climbed to at least 25 people while 35 others have sutained injuries.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the explosion.
This comes as a group of three armed militants who were believed to be suicide bombers attempted to storm the Chinese consulate in Karachi city of Pakistan.
According to the security officials, at least five people including three militants and two policemen were killed and a security guard of the consulate was wounded during the clash.
