Anti-Islam film sparks protest in capital Kabul

A number of Kabul University students on Sunday gathered in capital Kabul in a bid to protest against the Anti-Islam movie.

According to reports hundreds of students closed the University door and prevented to attend classes and prohibit other students, teachers and administrative workers to enter the University.

A number of roads and streets near the Kabul University have also been blocked.

In the meantime hundreds of students in western Herat province of Afghanistan protested against the Anti-Islam film in this province.

More than 500 University students including provincial police chief of Herat province Abdul Ghafar Syedzada in this province condemned the film and urged for the trial of the film maker.

The protesters ended their demonstrations and urged to end diplomatic ties with nations which are behind the film and insisted to close US councils and embassy in Afghanistan.
