Three IS-K militants were killed in a special operation conducted by the Afghan security forces in Bagrami area of Jalalabad in Nangarhar Province.

In a statement, the Ministry of Interior said, 999 Special Unit of Police conducted an operation in PD7 of Jalalabad city, where a house occupied by Daesh was raided.

According to the reports, some weapons, equipment, and a vehicle was seized during the operation.

In a separate incident on Tuesday night, the designated Deash chief for Momandara district was arrest by the NDS forces.

This comes as Abdul Qayoum, an employee of Nangarhar’s appellate court, was killed by unknown armed men.

Local officials told the media, that the incident happened around 9 am in PD4 of the provincial capital.

The incident happened when armed men opened fire on two employees of the appellate court, killing one person and injured another.

So far, no group or individual have claimed responsibility for the attack.
