Another Peshawar like attack planned for Pakistan

Peshawar school attackInterior Minister of Pakistan says there is information indicating another Peshawar like attack designed to be carried out in Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday Pakistan’s interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan called on security agencies to be on high alert.

Khan ordered the mobile companies in Pakistan not to issue illegal SIM cards.

He ordered all the hotel owners to be strict in verification of the room renters and inform the security agencies regarding any suspected individuals.

Peshawar attack which was carried out past Tuesday left 141 people killed and more than 130 injured, most of them school kids.

Attackers targeted a military-run school in Warsak Road area of Peshawar.

The responsibility of the attack was claimed by the Tahrik-e-Taliban Pakistan also known as TTP, Pakistan’s armed opponent group.

Taliban’s spokesman told media that the attack was carried out as a revenge for Pakistan’s military operation in North Waziristan where they (TTP) has lost their people.

Taliban also emailed photos of some dead people to the media claiming to be the family members of their fighters killed in North Waziristan.

However, the minister of interior of Pakistan did not mention in the news conference that who is behind planning another attack.
