Airstrikes kill 7 Taliban militants in Helmand, Kunduz and Uruzgan provinces

The security forces carried out a series of airstrikes in Helmand, Kunduz and Uruzgan killing at least 7 Taliban militants.

The informed military sources said Monday that an airstrike in Dishu district of Hlemadn killed 2 Taliban fighters and wounded 1 other.

The sources further added that an airstrike in Charah Darah district of Kunduz killed 1 Taliban fighter.

Furthermore, the security forces conducted airstrikes in in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province which killed 3 Taliban fighters.

Meanwhile, the military sources said the Afghan Special Forces conducted an operation in Chahar Darah district of Kunduz and destroyed 5 IEDs, 3 rocket propelled grenades, 0.3 kg homemade explosives and a small weapons cache.

The anti-government armed militants have not commented regarding the operations so far.
