The security forces conducted a series of airstrikes in Ghazni, Zabul and Nangarhar provinces in the past 24 hours to suppress the anti-government armed militants.

The military officials said Thursday that airstrikes killed 3 Taliban militants in Nawa district of Ghazni province.

The officials further added that the airstrikes also destroyed a small cache of weapons.

Furthermore, the officials said an airstrike in Shinka district of Zabul destroyed a Humvee armored personnel carrier which was captured by Taliban.

The security forces also conducted an airstrike in Hisarak district of Nangarhar which destroyed a communication node used for coordinating attacks.
