The security forces conducted multiple airstrikes in six provinces killing at least 19 Taliban militants in the past 24 hours.

The military officials said Monday that the security forces conducted airstrikes in Nerkh and Sayyidabad districts of Wardak province which killed 6 Taliban militants.

The officials further added that an airstrike in Dara-Ye-pain district in Samangan killed 4 Taliban militants.

Furthermore, an airstrike in Jurm district of Badakhshan killed 1 Taliban militants, the official said, adding that a similar air raid killed 3 Taliban militnats in Aab Band and Qarabagh districts of Ghazni.

The officials also added that an airstrike in Balkh district of Balkh province killed 2 Taliban militants and destroyed a cache of weapons.

The security forces also conducted airstrikes in Azrah and Charkh districts of Logar province which killed 3 Taliban militants, the officials added.
