The security forces conducted multiple airstrikes in five provinces in the past 24 hours killing at least 18 Taliban militants.

The military officials said Saturday that an airstrike killed a Taliban militant in Dehrawud district of Uruzgan province.

The officials further added that the security forces conducted airstrikes in Anar Darah district of Farah province which killed 12 Taliban militants.

The airstrikes also destroyed a small cache of weapons, the officials added.

Meanwhile, the officials said an airstrike in Andar district of Ghani killed 3 Taliban militants and destroyed a small cache of weapons.

The security forces conducted another airstrike in Qush Tepah district of Jawzjan which killed 2 Taliban militants, the officials said, adding that another airstrike in Logar killed 2 Taliban militants.

The officials also added that the airstrike in Logar also destroyed a weapons cache.
