The security forces conducted a series of airstrikes in Ghazni, Wardak, Faryab and Helmand provinces killing at least 15 Taliban militants.

The military officials said Wednesday that an airstrike killed 2 Taliban militants in Nawa district of Ghazni. The airstrike also destroyed a small cache of weapons.

The officials further added that a similar airstrike killed 2 Taliban militants in Kajaki district of Helmand.

Furthermore, the officials said an airstrike destroyed a small weapons cache and killed a Taliban militant in Chak-e Wardak district of Wardak province.

The officials also added that the security forces conducted airstrikes in Gurziwan district of Faryab which killed at least 10 Taliban militants.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrikes so far.
