An airstrike destroyed a truck bomb in Ghazni province of Afghanistan killing three suicide bombers.

The Governor’s Office in Ghazni said in a statement that the security forces conducted an airstrike at around 8:40 pm local time.

The statement further added that the security forces conducted the airstrike in Mazar area of Geru district.

Furthermore, the Governor’s Office said the airstrike killed 3 suicide bombers who were riding a Mazda type truck packed with explosives.

The statement also added that the suicide bombers were looking to detonate the truck in an un-specified location.
