Noor Jahan Mawani, the ambassador of his highness prince Karim Aga Khan to Afghanistan met with the Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdulllah on Thursday.

The office of Chief Executive following a statement said Aga Khan’s ambassador to Afghanistan Ms. Mawani conveyed the message of his highness prince Karim Aga Khan to Dr. Abdullah, congratulating him for taking the office as Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The statement further added that Ms. Mawani reaffirmed that the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) institutions are prepared to continue supporting the national unity government of Afghanistan.

In the meantime, the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah said the government of Afghanistan expects that the Aga Khan Development Network continues to its support to Afghanistan and Afghan people in an effective way.

Dr. Abdullah also added that the new government is committed to implement key reforms in the governmental institutions, including the electoral bodies.
