Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan to play for World XI at Lord’s cricket ground

The Afghan spin sensation Rashid Khan will play along with the other top cricketers in an upcoming Twenty20 International match for World XI at Lord’s cricket ground.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) issued a statement to confirm the participation of the Afghan spin sensation in the upcoming match scheduled for May 31st.

“Rashid Khan has confirmed his participation for the ICC World XI which will play a Twenty20 International against the West Indies at Lord’s on 31 May,” according to a statement by ACB.

According to Cricket Board of Afghanistan, Rashid, who is currently ranked number one on the ICC T20I bowling Rankings and second in the list of One-Day International bowlers, will be joined by many other big names in international cricket for the match at Lord’s.

Rashid Khan is one of the prominent players of the Afghan national cricket team who has shined well on international level during the recent years.

He is currently based in India and plays for the Hyderabad Sunrisers in the ongoing Indian Premier League matches.
