The season four of Afghanistan’s Largest Sporting Event – Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) will kick off tomorrow, the Afghanistan with players competing for the title from all 34 provinces in different teams.

What makes this season’s sporting event more interesting is the winner’s participation in South Asia Football Federation (SAFF) League Championship.

The Afghanistan Football Federation President Keramuddin Keram told reporters “The winner of the 2015 RAPL trophy will play in SAFF League Championship.”

Keram further added that the Afghanistan Football Federation has negotiated this with the ASian Football Confederation and “this would be a valuable step towards improvement of Afghanitan’s professional football.”

Afghanistan’s leading total communications provider, Roshan, signed a three year extension as Title Sponsor of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL), Afghanistan’s Largest Sporting Event.

The announcement was made during a press conference earlier last month by the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF), Afghanistan’s leading total communications provider, and MOBY GROUP, Afghanistan’s largest media conglomerate.

The 2014 RAPL season saw millions of Afghans cheer on young footballers from across the country as they competed for pride, love of football, and the prestigious RAPL trophy. At least 52.6% (at least 13.5 million viewers) of the population watched Shaheen Asmayee win their second straight title (AMMC – 2014 survey).
