Afghanistan exported its range of beverages to two significant markets, France and Turkey, according to officials.
On Monday, the spokesperson for the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid, posted on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, that the Pamir Cola group of companies has embarked on a new venture. This company has initiated the export of its range of beverages to two significant markets, France and Turkey.
Mujahid said that the maiden shipment, dispatched on Sunday, included various offerings, such as fruit juices, soft drinks, and other related products.
This marks a notable step forward for the Pamir Cola group as it expands its reach beyond domestic borders.
Earlier, the company exported Pomegranate juice beverages for the first time to the US. A Herat-based company made pomegranate soft drinks.
“The first shipment of pomegranate juice from Pamir Cola factory was exported to America from Herat Province, Afghanistan,” the official said.

Additionally, the company’s sales manager disclosed that they have successfully exported products to nations in Central Asia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates.
Established in 2018, the company has extended its global footprint, exporting to diverse nations such as India, Pakistan, Turkey, and Germany.
Afghanistan ranks among the world’s leading pomegranate producers, yielding over 600,000 tons annually. The Pomegranate is Cultivated in 33 of 34 provinces; key provinces include Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Herat, and Balkh.
