In a historic moment, Afghanistan’s national cricket team made history by defeating Pakistan in a 50-over ICC Cricket World Cup match with an impressive eight-wicket margin.

The game took place in Chennai, India, on Monday evening.

The Pakistani national cricket team started the game with bowling and, after losing seven players, set a target of 283 runs for Afghanistan.

Afghanistan’s national cricket team made a historic debut in the World Cup by defeating Pakistan with 276 runs for the loss of two players.

The victory of the Afghan national cricket team against Pakistan has been widely celebrated among politicians, officials, and cricket fans. Former Presidents Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Hamid Karzai welcomed the victory and termed it “historic.”

According to cricket board reports, Ibrahim Zadran, an Afghan national cricket team player, secured the title of the best player in this match with 87 runs in 113 balls.

Previously, Afghanistan’s national cricket team had also defeated the English national team in the World Cup.
