Afghanistan TaekwondoThe Afghan Taekwondo athletes have won 48 medals at an International Taekwondo Championship event in India, the National Olympic Committee said on Wednesday.

A statement released by the National Olympics Committee said, the Afghan Taekwondo athletes won 30 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze medals.

The statement further added that the fourth International Taekwondo Championship in men’s senior black belt event was organized in Dehradun on 21 and 22 December.

According to the National Olympics Committee, Afghanistan secured the first position of the championship by winning 48 medals, while India secured the 2nd position and Nepal was put at 3rd position.

Around 150 Taekwondo athletes from Afghanistan, India, Nepal and Malaysia competed in the championship.
