Afghanistan Reports 82 New Cases Of COVID-19

Ministry of Public Health reported Tuesday, that out of 398 samples, 82 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 118,072 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,080 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 30 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Two individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are Six, Herat 32, Kandahar Two, Balkh Seven, Takhar 14, Kunduz Four, Dykundi Six, Logar Three, Parwan One, Laghman Two, Kunar Four, and Panjsher One.  

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,369, Total deaths are 1,499 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,790.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 40,425,663 and the dead are reported to more than 1,118,635 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
