Ministry of Public Health reported Sunday, that out of 1,472 samples, 76 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 214,634 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 8,744 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 208 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Nine individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Major cities are Kabul 15, Herat 30, Balkh Two, and Nangarhar Five.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 53,538, Total deaths are 2,288 and the total recoveries are recorded 43,948.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 89,718,548 and the dead are reported to more than 1,928,136 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
