Afghanistan Reports 68 New Cases Of COVID-19

Ministry of Public Health reported Thursday, that out of 372 samples, 68 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 113,392 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are  5,088 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 13 individuals have recovered from COVID-19, and One individuals is reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are 16, Herat 50, Logar One, and Kandahar One.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 39,616, Total deaths are 1,470 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,058.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 36,170,478 and the dead are reported to more than 1,056,000.
