Ministry of Public Health reported Sunday, that out of 476 samples, 59 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 117,151 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,094 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 53 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Four individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are Two, Herat 31, Kandahar One, Balkh Five, Takhar Six, Baghlan Five, Parwan Five, Farah Three, and Zabul One. 

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,200, Total deaths are 1,492 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,614.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 39,714,245 and the dead are reported to more than 1,110,371 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
