Ministry of Public Health reported Thursday, that out of 1,802 samples, 57 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 221,663 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 6,402 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 295 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and 14 individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Major cities are Kabul Six, Herat 12, Kandahar Three, and Nangarhar Six.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 53,831, Total deaths are 2,328 and the total recoveries are recorded  45,105.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 92,431,105 and the dead are reported to more than 1,980,391 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
