Ministry of Public Health reported Saturday, that out of 282 samples, 53 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 116,675 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,092 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 45 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and three individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are Six, Balkh 12, Paktia 14, Nangarhar One, Kunar One, Laghman Five , Faryab Six, and Paktika Six. 

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,141, Total deaths are 1,488 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,561.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 39,361,810 and the dead are reported to more than 1,104,903 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
