Ministry of Public Health reported Tuesday, that out of  1,428 samples, 282 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 141,863 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 7,444 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 146  individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and 17 individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are  70, Herat 47, Kandahar 34, Nangarhar 44, Takhar 12, Kunduz 12, Baghlan Eigh, Parwan 30, Nimroz 10, Ghazni 15, Logar Five and Maidan Wardak Three.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 45,278, Total deaths are 1,712 and the total recoveries are recorded 36,122.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 59,192,123 and the dead are reported to more than 1,396,673 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
