Afghanistan Reports 132 New COVID-19 Cases In 24Hrs

Ministry of Public Health reported Monday, that out of 453 samples, 132 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 123,152 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,750 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 16 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, five individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are 13, Kandahar 26, Balkh 21, Nangarhar Seven, Takhar 15, Kunduz Four, Baghlan 15, Dykundi Three, Kunar Two, Helmand Nine, Panjsher One, and Zabul 16.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 41,633, Total deaths are 1,541 and the total recoveries are recorded 34,342.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 46,544,769 and the dead are reported to more than 1,200,850 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
