Afghanistan Reports 116 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours

Ministry of Public Health reported Thursday, that out of 440 samples, 116 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 118,980 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,290 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, Seven individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Four individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are 12, Herat 41, Kandahar Three, Balkh 11, Nangarhar Two, Kunduz 12, Baghlan 15, Parwan 12, Helmand One, Laghman Two, Kunar Two, Panjsher Two, and Paktika One.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,626, Total deaths are 1,505 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,831.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 41,281,842 and the dead are reported to more than 1,132,169 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
