Ministry of Public Health reported Tuesday, that out of 1,202 samples, 106 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 217,752 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 8,216 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 472 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Seven individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Major cities are Kabul  Seven, Herat 12, Kandahar Four, and Helmand Nine.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 53,690, Total deaths are 2,308 and the total recoveries are recorded  44,608.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 90,976,653 and the dead are reported to more than 1,947,243 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
