ACCI officials have said the amount of Afghanistan’s export during the first three months of the year was around USD 90 million, while Afghanistan exported goods worth USD 120 million during the same period last year.
Afghanistan’s main exports includes dry and fresh fruits, precious stones, carpets and natural herbs used for medicines.
The unexpected fall in Afghanistan’s export is believed to have direct links with the political instability due to the presidential elections.

The officials said the delay in announcement of the results of the presidential election, has led its customs revenue to decrease to 25 percent.
