Played in Abu Dhabi in UAE, the UAE team won the toss and decided to field first, allowing the Afghan batsmen to start their batting innings.

The Afghan team scored 510 runs by losing 9 wickets during their first batting innings but the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team trailed by 313 runs after they started their first batting innings and scored 197 runs by losing all their wickets.

However, in their second batting innings, the UAE scored 331 runs before all their wickets were taken by the Afghan team and with this the Afghan team needed 19 runs to end the game in their favor.

The Afghan team in their second batting innings completed the given target easily and by batting only 5 overs.

The game ended in Afghanistan’s favor after they defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team by 10 wickets with Rashid Khan winning the man of the match title.

Rashid Khan took 3 wickets during the first innings against UAE while in the second innings he managed to take 5 wickets.

On the batting side, Ihsanullah scored 124 runs, Rahmat Shah 103 runs, and Asghar Stanikzai 114 runs in their first batting innings.
