Played at Bready village in Ireland, the Afghanistan cricket won the toss elected to bat first during the second game of the series.

Hazratullah Zazai once again shined on the batting side for Afghanistan and scored the highest runs, 82 runs from 54 balls, by hitting 6 fours and 7 sixes.

Asghar Stanikzai also played well after Afghanistan lost two of its top order batsmen during the initial overs of the game.

Stanikzai scored 37 runs, Najibullah Zadran remained not out after scoring 20 runs on the lower order, while Mohammad Nabi scored 12 runs.

However, the Irish batsmen could not chase the given target and lost all their wickets by scoring 79 runs only during the 15th over of the game.

Rashid Khan took 4 wickets on the bowling side, Mujeeb Ur Rehman 3 wickets, while Aftab Alam, Fareed Ahmad, and Mohammad Nabi took one wicket each.

This comes as Afghanistan on Monday defeated Ireland by 16 runs during the opening game of a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) bilateral series.
