The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated the national cricket team of Bangladesh by 224 runs in a one-off test match in Chattogram of Bangladesh.

The Afghan team won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 342 runs after losing all their wickets in their first Innings.

Rahmat Shah scored the highest runs for Afghanistan in the first Inning. He scored 102 runs while Asghar Afghan scored 92 runs, Rashid Khan 51 runs and Afsar Zazai 41 runs.

The Bangladesh team failed to take a lead in their first innings after they lost all their wickets by scoring 205 runs only.

The Afghan team scored 260 runs in their second innings with Ibrahim Zadran scoring the highest score of 87. Asghar Afghan scored 50 runs and Afsar Zazai remained not out after 48 runs.

The Bangladesh team could not chase the given target and managed to score 173 runs only during their second Innings and as a result lost the match by 224 runs.

Rashid Khan received the man of the match award for his outstanding performance and taking 11 wickets in the match.
