It is noteworthy that the national cricket teams of Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates played three T20 matches in Sharjah, where Afghanistan won the first game and lost the second, but the final game, which took place late on Tuesday, ended in favour of Afghanistan.
Following this series, the Afghanistan national team is scheduled to travel to India to commence a series of T20 matches on January 11.
