Afghanistan condemn cross border shelling from Pakistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan condemned missile attacks by Pakistani in eastern bordering regions of Afghanistan and said it was unacceptable.

A spokesman for the ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan Janan Mosazai said the continued missile attacks by Pakistan in eastern provinces of Afghanistan will endanger the relations between the two countries.

According to reports hundreds of missiles were fired into eastern Kunar province from Pakistan soil during the recent days.

The government of Afghanistan condemned the action and claimed that the missiles were fired by Pakistani troops. However Pakistani officials denied the allegations.

In latest missiles attacks from Pakistan on Saturday evening at least four people were killed in eastern Kunar province.

Provincial governor spokesman quoted by German News Agency DPA said around 300 missiles were fired in two districts in this province on Saturday.

In the meantime provincial security chief also confirmed the report and said several missiles were fired in this province during the recent days.
