The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated West Indies by 29 runs to clinch the T20 International series 2-1.

Played in Lucknow of India, Afghanistan set a target of 156 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Rahmatullah Gurbaz scored the most runs for Afghanistan by opening the batting innings for Afghanistan with Hazratullah Zazai who could not score any run.

The West Indies batsmen could not chase the given target and scored 127 runs only by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Naveen-ul Haq took 3 wickets, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Karim Janat, Gulbadin Naib and Rashid Khan took 1 wicket each to restrict the West Indies batsmen before to 127 runs.

West Indies defeated Afghanistan by 30 runs in the opening game of of the 3-match series but the Afghan team managed to level series by defeating West Indies by 41 in the second match on 16th November.
