
The Afghanistan cricket board appointed spin sensation Rashid Khan as the new captain of the national cricket team of Afghanistan.
The Chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board Azizullah Fazli on Friday announced that all-rounder Rashid Khan has been appointed as the new captain of the national team.
Fazli further added that Rashid Khan will assume charge of the national across three formats.
Furthermore, the Afghanistan Cricket Board appointed former skipper Asghar Afghan as the Vice-Captain of the national team.
Meanwhile, Rashid Khan said he hopes that he will be able to be successful after assuming the major responsibility of the national team as newly-appointed skipper.
Khan further added that he will count on the experience of Asghar Afghan during his tenure as the captain of the national team.
