Afghanistan: 141 New COVID-19 Cases In Past 24 Hrs

Ministry of Public Health reported Wednesday, that out of 468 samples, 141 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 118,540 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,185 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 34 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Two individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are Six, Herat 105, Kandahar Two, Balkh Eight, Paktia Two, Takhar Eight, Bamyan One, Kunduz Seven, and Zabul Two.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,510, Total deaths are 1,501 and the total recoveries are recorded 33,824.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 40,818,555 and the dead are reported to more than 1,125,388 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
