The Afghanistan Under-15s National Football Team left for Uzbekistan on Thursday to participate in the Central Asian Under-15s football tournament.

The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) in a statement said the Afghan U-15s left for Uzbekistan to participate in the second round of U-15s football tournament in Central Asia.

The statement further added that the Afghan U-15s had secured the first position during the first round of the Central Asian U-15s football tournament.

According to the Football Federation of Afghanistan, three international referees of the Afghan Football will also accompany the U-15s team during the tournament.

The referees, Reza Mohammadi, Halim Aqa Shirzad, and Mohammad Sharif will also take part in the tournament as international referees.

The Central Asian U-15s tournament will kick off from 22nd July in Tashkent city of Uzbekistan and will continue until 30th of July.

The Afghanistan Football Federation says the U-15s football team of the Central Asian States will participate in the tournament.

This comes as the Afghan U-16s football team had secured the second position during the Central Asian U-16s football tournament few days earlier.
