The Afghan Special Forces killed 13 Taliban militants in Pul-e-Khumri city, the provincial capital of northern Baghlan province.

The raid was conducted a day after a coordinated attack hit the police headquarters of Baghlan in the city.

“In a raid by Afghan Special Forces to disrupt the Taliban’s ability to mass combat power in Pul-e Khumri, 13 Taliban fighters were killed and a large weapons cache was destroyed,” informed military sources said Tuesday.
