The Afghan Special Forces and Afghan Air Force conducted 89 operations in the past 24 hours.

The defense ministry in a statement said Monday that the Special Forces conducted 77 special tasks in various provinces.

The statement further added that the Afghan Air Force also conducted 12 airstrikes in support of the Afghan armed forces.

Furthermore, the security forces conducted 11 joint operations during the same period.

The ministry of defense also added that the operations were conducted in Ghazni, Kunduz, Kandahar, Helmand, Uruzgan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Balkh, Sar-e-Pul, Kunar and Farah provinces.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense said the security forces killed 29 militants and wounded 8 others during the same operations.

In addition to this, the security forces also arrested 3 militants during the same operation, the Ministry of Defense said.
