Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special envoy to Afghanistan, said Mir Rehman Rahmani, speaker of the Afghan parliament and some members of the parliament will visit Pakistan Friday.

Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special envoy to Afghanistan, wrote on his Twitter account that a high-level delegation from the Afghan parliament, led by Mir Rehman Rahmani, the speaker of the lower house, would visit Pakistan on October 23rd.

He said the delegation will include chairpersons of 5 standing committees, several other Parliamentarians, Secretary-General, and officials of the Wolesi Jirga.

The Speaker and members of the Wolesi Jirga are traveling to Pakistan as President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani introduced 24 cabinet ministers to the lower house for a vote of confidence.
