Leaders of the Afghan National Front criticize Afghan President Karzai for being nervous reacting towards political matters in Afghanistan following his reaction on political system change in the country.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai while speaking during the opening session of the Afghan parliament harshly reacted towards the idea of changing the political system in Afghanistan.

President Karzai emphasized that Afghanistan is not a political laboratory for the experiment of new political systems by strangers.

President Karzai warned that Afghanistan strongly oppose and will not allow any changes which endangers the political situation in Afghanistan.

In the meantime leaders of the National Front and National coalition supports a change in the current politial system in Afghanistan and emphasize for the implementation of parliamentarian political system instead of presidential system.

Chief of the Afghan National Front Ahmad Zia Massoud, Mohammad Mohaqiq senior member of the Afghan National Front and Faizullah Zaki spokesman of the Afghan National Front defended their stance for the implementation of parliamentarian political system in Afghanistan.

While speaking during a press conference Ahmad Zia Massoud criticized president Karzai is trying to centralize the power in Afghan Presidential Place and said that president Karzai oppose providing further authority for local elders and oppose the activities of the political parties.

In response to president Karzai’s comments to defend the current political system until last breaths Mr. Massoud said, the current political system is unacceptable and we support a decentralized political system in Afghanistan.

In the meantime Mohammad Mohaqiq criticized president Karzai for violating speech freedom by offering such comments and said, president Karzai violates the freedom of speech and democracy by announcing to defend the current political system until last breaths.

Mr. Mohaqiq also said, the National Front of Afghanistan has collected 1 million signatures supporting the political system change in Afghanistan and has submitted it to Commission overviewing and implementing Afghan constitution.
