Afghan Mixed Martial Art (MMA) fighter Baz Mohammad Mubariz defeated his opponent from the Czech Republic during an event by knocking him out.
Mubariz said he knocked his opponent during the second round of the match despite his weight was 7 kgs more than him.
Vostry is a professional MMA fighter from the Czech Republic whose records includes 6 wins and 6 losses.
Mubariz is one of Afghanistan’s brightest Mixed Martial Arts stars – in a country far removed from the glitz and glamour of America’s UFC series.
The fighter who is also known as “the Eagle” says he made his move away from traditional Afghan wrestling to Mixed Martial Arts after he discovered UFC on Afghan TV.
Mubariz started his pro career in India, where he went through a three-round battle with Kazakhstan prospect Kuat Khamitov.
He said tonight’s fight was dedicated to the Afghan national security forces who are fighting tireless to defend Afghanistan and the Afghan people.
