Afghan MMA Fighter Nasrat Haqparast Vs Alex Monuz

Afghan MMA fighter, Nasrat Haqparast defeated Alex Monuz, his American rival in a UFC Fight Night match in the Los Vegas of the United States.

According to reports, Nasrat Haqparast was looking for a knockdown opportunity, but his rival Alex Monuz was tough, but Haqparast managed to win all three rounds on every scorecard against his opponent.

Nasrat Haqparast fought Alex Munoz at UFC Vegas 6. Munoz shot across the cage and secured a takedown second into the fight. Haqparast was able to get right back to his feet though but Munoz was pressing him against the fence. Munoz then landed a groin shot that forced a break in the action and the referee separated the fighters on the restart. When the fight got going again, Haqparast was doing a good job constantly touching Munoz and defending takedown attempts. Haqparast landed a couple of big shots that stunned Munoz, including when Munoz tried to shoot for a takedown but instead ate a big uppercut. Strong opening round from Haqparast.

Bloody Canvas portal reported

According to the website, Haqparast continued the strong striking in the second round. He was able to keep the fight on the feet and was certainly landing the more impactful shots.

The third round was more of the same. Haqparast just appeared so fast and so polished as a striker. There just wasn’t really much Munoz could do. It should be said, Munoz is tough as nails and never to a step backward. He was right there and fought his heart out for the entirety of the fight. He was just unable to implement his game plan and Haqparast is just on a different level as a striker.

The judges all scored the fight 30-27 for Haqparast, who bounced back nicely from his knockout loss to Drew Dober.

Haqparast improves to 12-3 while Munoz falls to 6-1
