Afghan forces killed, wound 34 Taliban militants in Khost, Paktiya: 203rd Thunder Corps

The Afghan forces have inflicted casualties on 34 Taliban militants in south-eastern Khost and Paktiya.

The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the security forces killed 16 Taliban militants and wounded 13 others in Mosa Khel district of Khost province.

The statement further added that the security forces also confiscated one Ak-47 rifle, a ladder, 5 rocket launcher ammunition and 7 rockets of 82mm rocket launcher.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the security forces killed 2 Taliban militants and wounded 3 others in Zurmat district of Paktiya province.

Meanwhile, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the security forces discovered and defused 9 improvised explosives during an operation in the outskirts of Ghazni city.
