Afghan forces kill 4 Taliban militants while repulsing a Taliban attack in Ghazni

The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces repulsed a Taliban attack in South-eastern Ghazni province, killing at least four Taliban militants.

The Special Operations Corps in a statement said a group of Taliban militants attacked the security posts in Arzoo Kalan area located in the provincial capital of Ghazni.

The statement further added that the Afghan forces effectively responded to the attack and killed at least four of the assailants.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the incident so far.

Ghazni is among the relatively volatile provinces in South-east of Afghanistan where Taliban militants have active presence in some of its restive districts.
